Why is law important?

Have you ever seen a company function without a structure? No, a company cannot function well without a system- a base. There will always be errands and errors in the workplace without it. The same thing is with the law.

The law refers to the rules for setting up a stable foundation.

In this article, the focus will be on why a legal system is essential?

So, let’s go

Acts as a direction – Any legal system of any country actions based on what is written in the constitution. The rules in the book act as the direction of behavior in a society. Think about it; a human is born without a purpose when they are young. And without a goal, any human can turn into a rabid beast and do whatever they want. The legal system then acts as a direction. It guides the person to do what is better for him and his fellow human beings. It serves as a foundation of moral codes a baby is taught. Further helps in building a better place to strive in.

Gives a base – Many now question the fundamentality of some rules. Not all laws are worth preserving, and not all laws are practical. The legal system acts as a base. It is from where things can be further improved. If there is no base, then there is nothing to improve. When you understand the importance of a foundation, you take steps and measures toward its betterment of it.

Law

Make things safer– A rule can protect society from inhuman activities. Just take examples of rapes and crimes. If the organization lacks regulations, the lines between behavior get blurred. All the crimes that happen are nothing but a result of bad social behavior. One disregards the other person’s rights and dignity for selfish reasons. With laws guiding us, the weaker sections of society can benefit from higher levels of safety from criminal elements.

To create harmony– Since humans are social creatures. They make all kinds of social structures to promote balance and harmony. The legal system is a window to generate better consensus among different groups of individuals. Say, for example, when it comes to animal rights, a particular section of society gets fairly treated employing these laws. With a healthy legal system, fewer wars and conflicts between people improve a society’s overall quality.
